🔷 Activity Details
Description
The one-month volunteering activity will be hosted by Youth Rights & Citizenship Initiative (YRCI) in Albania in cooperation with EYUDER. Volunteers will support youth work, community activities, non-formal education, intercultural learning, social activities and awareness-raising initiatives. The project aims to promote solidarity, active citizenship, cultural exchange and personal development while giving participants the opportunity to gain international volunteering experience.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation will be provided by the hosting organisation throughout the activity. Volunteers will receive food allowance and pocket money according to European Solidarity Corps programme rules. Local transportation related to project activities will be provided or covered when necessary, and international travel costs will be reimbursed according to the applicable ESC distance band.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will receive an orientation at the beginning of the activity and continuous support from the project coordinator and mentor throughout the project. Learning will take place through non-formal education, teamwork, practical activities and reflection sessions. Participants will also be supported in identifying and documenting their learning outcomes through Youthpass.
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 who are interested in volunteering, youth work, intercultural learning and community activities. No specific educational background or previous experience is required. Participants should be responsible, open-minded, flexible, willing to work in an international team and motivated to actively participate in the activities and improve their skills.
