Description
The volunteer will assist mainly at hobby clubs for kids, the age of kids and focus of hobby clubs is various. At our workplace Labyrint there are theater hobby clubs, but also many other (sports, art, clubs for preschoolers).
The average working time which needs to be fulfilled is 30 hours per week, that includes also meetings with coordinator and other volunteers, Czech language lessons and time for your own miniproject/s. If you are selected for second round of selection, be ready for video call interview. Communicative level of English is needed at our ESC, there is 8 other ESC volunteers working at other workplaces for the whole year. We can accept only volunteer who does not need visa.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Days off and holidays: volunteers have 2 days a week free + 2 days per month of vacation. While working occasionally on weekends they have days off during the week. Allowances: Volunteers get their pocket money and food allowance monthly (at the beginning of each month), they are provided with card for Brno public transport. Accommodation: Volunteers live in rented flats NOT IN CENTER OF THE CITY. Two volunteers might share one room.
Training during the activity
Volunteer will join official training done by Czech NA (on-arrival training) if there will be one during this period. Also supposed to join pre-departure training done by NA in his/her country or by his/her supporting organization.
