Description

We are Christian Catholic NGO called VIAC – Institute for youth support and development. Nowadays we are looking for long-term (1 year or 6 months) volunteers, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity and are willing to share those values among young people. Also, we are looking for someone who has skills to create posters, videos etc. All the description of the place and positions you can find on this website: https://volunteering.ozviac.sk. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the distance band, in according to the rules of Erasmus+. Volunteers will be accommodated either in the flat in centre of Trstená or Tvrdošín. Volunteers will receive pocket money as well as money for food. They can have lunch in our organisation or arrange their own food.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will have onboarding training in our organisation. On-arrival and mid-term training will be provided by our National Agency.

Participant profile

We are looking for young people at the age from 18 till 30, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity, but we are open to anyone who is open and willing to learn new things and work with teenagers. At least communication level of English is required. Previous volunteer experience and experience in work with children, young people or social work is welcomed. We cannot accept volunteers from Algeria. We won't accept application that will be sent to email of our organisation, please, apply via ESC portal.
