If you want a fully funded week or two abroad this summer, this batch is full of unusual, meaningful projects. There are 8 Erasmus+ opportunities open now, mostly youth exchanges and youth worker training: plant-based cooking and fermentation in the Czech countryside, a traditional music exchange in Bosnia, trauma healing and nature connection in the Carpathian mountains of Romania, a workshop on using history to stand against hate speech in the Polish Tatras, and youth mental health, STEAM and outdoor learning for youth workers. Several close as soon as possible, so start at the top.
For the residential projects, Erasmus+ covers your travel and your stay, meaning accommodation and food, and you leave with a Youthpass certificate. You usually just need to be a resident of an eligible programme or partner country, and each listing shows exactly who can apply. Two of these are free online workshops, so there is nothing to travel to and nothing to pay, just sign up. Deadlines run from as soon as possible to 6 September 2026.
