How do our food choices influence our health, our communities, and the environment? And how can plant-based food contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future? Plant Based is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that turns these questions into a hands-on, 10-day adventure in the Czech countryside, where young people learn practical skills that make sustainable living accessible and genuinely enjoyable.
Throughout the exchange, participants cook and experiment, learn food preparation techniques such as fermentation, discuss nutrition and sustainability, and create educational materials to inspire other young people. It is a chance to move from understanding the basics of plant-based living to applying that knowledge in practice and sharing it with others.
๐ About the Project
The project is built on non-formal education and the belief that sustainable living is a skill anyone can learn. Participants explore the connection between food choices, health, and the planet, then put it into practice in the kitchen and in nature. You can expect learning by doing, practical workshops such as cooking, group discussions, reflections, outdoor activities, peer learning, and intercultural exchange.
