The Role

As an intern, you help strengthen the office's visibility, communicate international opportunities to students and staff, and promote Vitae's global projects and partnerships, gaining hands-on experience in content creation, digital communication, social media, branding, campaign planning and intercultural communication.

What You'll Do

๐Ÿ“ฃ Support the design and implementation of the Office of Global Affairs communication and marketing plan, and create written and visual content for social media, newsletters, the website and internal channels.

๐ŸŒ Develop campaigns to promote international mobility, exchange opportunities, global events and institutional partnerships, and manage the office's social media channels in coordination with the university's communication team.

๐ŸŽจ Produce communication materials such as brochures, presentations, posters, infographics and digital guides, and help define and maintain a coherent visual identity and tone of voice.

๐Ÿ“ธ Collect stories, interviews, photographs and testimonials from students, staff and international partners, and support the planning, promotion and coverage of international events, welcome sessions, workshops and institutional visits.

๐Ÿ“Š Research communication trends and good practices, help segment audiences and adapt messages, support email marketing and newsletters, and contribute ideas to increase participation in European and global programmes.

What They're Looking For

๐ŸŽ“ Background or ongoing studies in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism or a related field.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Advanced English (minimum B2, C1 preferred), with knowledge of Spanish or Catalan an asset, strong written communication, knowledge of social media and digital tools, and basic skills in graphic design and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud. Creativity, initiative, attention to detail, organisational skills and an interest in higher education and internationalisation round out the profile.

The Details

๐Ÿ“ Location: Barcelona, Spain.

๐Ÿ“… Period: 13 September to 21 December 2026 (4 months, around 20 hours per week, 3 to 4 days per week).

๐Ÿ’ถ Compensation: this opportunity is unpaid and includes a certificate of completion, networking opportunities, mentoring and participation in workshops or training sessions. You may be able to fund it through an Erasmus+ traineeship grant via your university.
