Do you love travel, people and unforgettable memories? Happy Erasmus Bilbao is looking for a Tour Leader intern to plan and run trips and excursions for the international student community in Bilbao and across Spain.

About Happy Erasmus Bilbao

"Erasmus is not one year in your life but your life in one year." An Erasmus experience can really change a life, and that is why Happy Erasmus exists. Happy Erasmus is a Spanish association based in Bilbao and present in many other European countries, helping exchange students make the best of their experience and creating a community of international students who make amazing memories and leave their mark in Bilbao. The association offers parties, events and trips, support to find accommodation, welcome pickups and welcome activities, and support with everyday needs such as SIM cards and living in the city. Last year alone, the team planned 2 boat parties, 13 trips around Spain and Europe averaging 75 people each, and more than 35 parties.

Main Goal

๐ŸŽฏ Increase involvement in the association's activities and improve the services offered to the Erasmus community in Bilbao.

What You'll Do

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Plan trips and travels with the rest of the team.

๐Ÿ“‹ Prepare the guide materials for the tours.

๐ŸšŒ Travel to other Spanish cities during the weekend to run the tours.

What They're Looking For

๐ŸŒ An open-minded person with advanced soft skills and really good social skills, who likes working in a team and enjoys an international environment. Fluent English is a must, basic Spanish is a plus, and experience in sales is a plus. A positive attitude and a willingness to help go a long way, and if you have been an exchange student yourself, mention it in your application.

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŽ“ Students in Business Studies or Management Science, Education or Teacher Training, or Geography or Geology, who are friendly, sociable and open-minded. This is an unpaid internship, and you may be able to fund it through an Erasmus+ traineeship grant, so check with your university whether you are eligible.

The Details

๐Ÿ“ Location: Bilbao, Spain (full-time).

๐Ÿ“… Period: 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2026. The basic period is between 3 and 4 months, but the team is flexible with the dates.

๐Ÿ’ถ Compensation: this opportunity is unpaid.
