The Alliance for Renewable Electrification (ARE) is the global industry platform that federates and supports renewable energy companies to win business, shape policy, and scale deployment across emerging markets. ARE operates across Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean, and is dedicated to advancing sustainable energy access worldwide.
ARE is currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Communications and Events Intern to support its communications and event activities.
Main Responsibilities
๐ฑ Create content for digital marketing and communications channels
๐ฅ Support communications for events and webinars
๐จ Assist with email campaigns and weekly alerts
๐ช Support the organisation of ARE's flagship event
๐ค Support the coordination of event service providers
๐ฌ Support liaising with event participants
๐ฅ๏ธ Support the management of the event platform and participants list
๐๏ธ Provide ad hoc administrative support
๐ Support the management of the jobs and tenders platforms on the ARE website
Profile
๐ Currently studying or recently graduated in communications, marketing, or a related field
๐ Eligible to undertake an internship in Belgium
โก Interested in clean energy and renewable energy topics
๐ Eager to learn, with a proactive and hands-on attitude
๐ฃ๏ธ Fluent in English; knowledge of French is considered an asset
๐จ Knowledge of Canva is required
๐ ๏ธ Knowledge of WordPress and Constant Contact, or other mailing tools, is considered an asset
