The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is offering traineeships in Space Programme Operations across its sites in the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands and Spain. EUSPA provides safe and secure European satellite navigation services, advances the commercialisation of Galileo, EGNOS and Copernicus data and services, engages in secure SATCOM (GOVSATCOM & IRISยฒ), and operates the Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) Front Desk, enhancing European autonomy in space technologies.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned department/team, trainees may:
๐ฐ๏ธ Support the daily activities of the assigned operational department/team, including internal and external meetings
๐ Assist with the preparation, review and organisation of technical or operational documentation, notes, reports, slides and presentations
๐ Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of projects, processes, tools, indicators or service-provision activities (e.g. reporting, dashboards, KPIs, research and innovation projects, or SST tools/algorithms)
๐ Support the coordination and organisation of events, workshops or stakeholder interactions
๐ฌ Conduct research and draft papers or analyses on subjects relevant to the team's operational scope
๐๏ธ Assist with administrative support tasks, such as archiving, document management, data entry and processing, and organising meetings
โ Provide support for ad-hoc tasks and contribute to overall Agency processes where relevant
Eligibility
๐ช๐บ Have the nationality of an EU Member State, Iceland, Norway or Switzerland
๐ A recognised higher education degree (or, for final-year students, official certification of being in their final year of study)
๐ก Interest or knowledge in one or more of the Agency's areas of work (from studies, research, traineeships or professional experience)
๐ฃ๏ธ Thorough knowledge of one official EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another; one must be English (the Agency's working language)
โ A clean criminal record
โ Not have previously undertaken a regular (paid) traineeship at EUSPA
Selection Criteria
๐ Motivation to contribute to operational, technical or programme-related activities of the EU Space Programme
๐ Relevant knowledge (by training or experience) in one or more of the areas covered
๐ฌ๐ง Excellent written and spoken English
๐ฃ๏ธ Effective communication

๐งฉ Analytical and problem-solving skills appropriate to the area of work
๐ป Good knowledge of IT applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; others an asset)
Conditions of Employment
๐ถ A monthly grant of โฌ1,500 for a full-time traineeship
โ๏ธ Possible reimbursement of travel expenses from/to your place of origin
๐ชช Trainees arrange their own sickness and accident insurance
๐ Before starting, candidates provide proof of nationality, diplomas, a police-records excerpt, a medical certificate, insurance documents, a statement on any other grants, and a confidentiality/conflict-of-interest declaration
