Description
L’organizzazione d’accoglienza lavora per contrastare la marginalizzazione sociale all'interno della comunità. Prenderai parte a numerose attività, principalmente in Los Rosales, un quartiere di El Palmar, distretto di Murcia, una zona che vive problemi sociali. Aiuteresti la comunità a integrarsi socialmente e professionalmente. Darai sostegno alle famiglie nella mattinata, tramite workshops, aiuto pratico, lezioni di spagnolo, mentre al pomeriggio svolgerai attività di supporto per studenti di scuola primaria e secondaria. Ti verrà chiesto di promuovere i programmi europei, tra i quali l’ESC, presentando la tua esperienza in scuole e organizzazioni giovanili. In estate seguirai la scuola estiva, con eventi dedicati alla crescita, giochi e gite all’aperto. Vivrai la comunità locale, con eventi mirati, tra i quali “La Fuente de las Culturas,” che si tiene a maggio ed è molto amato! Avrai l’opportunità di partecipare allo sviluppo di nuove attività all’interno del quartiere.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Alloggerai in una stanza in un appartamento di Murcia, dove vivrai con altri volontari in una casa dotata di tutto il necessario. Ogni mese riceverai una retribuzione di 186 euro, e un'altra somma di 184 euro per le spese d'alimentazione. Il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Spagna ti sarà rimborsato. Se per ragioni di servizio dovrai spostarti dentro Murcia potrai scegliere tra la bicicletta e l'abbonamento dell'autobus. L'orario dell'attività oscillerà intorno alle 34 ore settimanali. Un'assicurazione dell'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso di infortunio o malattia.
Training during the activity
Come volontario europeo avrai 3 momenti formativi ufficiali: una formazione prepartenza prima di lasciare l'Italia, una formazione all'arrivo in Spagna e una terza formazione a circa metà del periodo di volontariato. Partecipare a questo progetto costituisce un'importante esperienza di formazione su come contrastare a livello urbano problemi familiari, lotta alla povertà economica, mancanza di fiducia nel sistema educativo, abbandono scolastico precoce, e mancanza di spazi per attività d'animazione o a carattere comunitario. Acquisirai molte competenze, che ti torneranno utili in futuro.

Sei il candidato perfetto se sei motivato, attivo e hai un'attitudine positiva. Se sei responsabile, dotato di spirito d'iniziativa, paziente e lavori con entusiasmo allora sei la persona che cerchiamo! Le diverse attività che andrai a svolgere richiedono apertura mentale, creatività e voglia di condividere e implementare idee e progetti, contribuendo allo sviluppo della comunità. Dovresti essere bravo a lavorare con i bambini e i ragazzi in contesti sociali vulnerabili. Serve, perciò, un alto livello di maturità, stabilità emotiva e capacità di adattamento, oltre che di lavoro di squadra.
