The volunteers may join the following activities:
- Community Arts: workshops in community music, social theatre, social videomaking
- Il Borghetto: maintenance of the community centre, bio-architecture and upcycling workshops, gardening
- Soul Kitchen: sustainable cooking workshops, foraging walks, intercultural cooking events
- Hospitality & Group Management: workcamps, artists' residencies, training courses
- Community Animation: monthly fair, summer camps, community events
- Digital Media: web radio, creation of video podcasts, digital storytelling.
The activities will take place at the community culture centre "Il Borghetto", at Immaginaria's headquarters (hosting a coworking space and a multimedia room), and at the village's exhibition hall. All the venues are located in the historical centre of Pastene, within walking distance (5 mins. approx.) from our volunteers' accommodation.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project will take place in Pastene, a 600-inhabitant village in a rural area near the city of Benevento, in the Italian region of Campania. Here, in January 2026 Immaginaria opened the community centre "Il Borghetto", hosted in 2-storey house renovated by local volunteers: our ESC volunteers will stay on the second floor, designed for short- and long-term hospitality with its 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room (with a functioning fireplace included!)
