Intercultural communication, fundraising for non-profit ideas, workshops on gender equality and environmental protection, and a team working to connect Azerbaijani youth with European opportunities. This ESC placement in Azerbaijan is for someone who brings initiative, creativity, and a genuine belief that young people can lead change in their communities.
Common Sense Youth Organisation (CSYO) works to enhance the skills and competencies of local youth and empower them to actively participate in society. Their Challenge Yourself project brings an international volunteer into the heart of that work β supporting the organisation’s international relations team while running workshops, creating content, and implementing real community activities.
This placement is organised in partnership with sending organisation ICJA β Freiwilligenaustausch Weltweit and is open to participants from Germany only.
What Is This Role About?
The project has two connected dimensions. On one side, you will be supporting local Azerbaijani youth β raising awareness about intercultural communication, EU mobility opportunities, and tools for personal development.
