Introduction

This volunteering opportunity takes place at Fjället Youth Centre in Gothenburg, where young people aged 10–20 actively shape their own environment. The project focuses on participation, inclusion, and giving youth a real voice. Volunteers become part of a dynamic youth work setting, contributing to daily activities while also developing their own ideas and initiatives together with young people.

Objectives of the Project

The project aims to empower young people and create a safe and engaging environment through youth-led activities.

Your Role as a Volunteer

Volunteers take on an active role in the youth centre, working closely with young people and youth workers.

🎯 Working as a youth leader supporting daily activities
🏀 Organizing sports, games, and creative workshops
🎭 Facilitating cultural and artistic activities
💡 Developing and implementing personal project ideas
🤝 Encouraging interaction and positive relationships
🌈 Supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
📅 Participating in events, excursions, and camps
📢 Promoting the European Solidarity Corps

Accommodation, Food and Transport

Volunteers are provided with a structured and supportive living setup.

🏠 Shared apartment with private bedrooms and common spaces
🚌 Public transport card for the Gothenburg area
📱 SIM card for communication
💶 Monthly allowance of حوالي 4,500 SEK for food and personal expenses
✈️ Accommodation, travel, insurance, and visa costs covered

Training and Learning Opportunities
