You can join CineVolunteers 2.0 at THF in Odorheiu Secuiesc, Romania, as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer for an immersive 8-month experience that brings together cinema, youth work, and environmental awareness in the heart of Transylvania. Working alongside an international creative team, you will support local youth events, contribute to photo and video projects, assist in community workshops, and help raise awareness on environmental and social issues. What Will You Do as a Volunteer?
🎥Contribute to photo and video projects that tell real, meaningful stories about the local community, youth, and environmental issues
🏫Support local youth events and educational activities in schools, bringing creative energy and fresh international perspectives to young people in Odorheiu Secuiesc
🌍Help raise awareness on environmental topics and social issues through creative communication, content creation, and community engagement
🎨Assist in creative workshops and community programmes, contributing your own skills and ideas to a collaborative and dynamic team environment
🗣️Facilitate English language activities and intercultural exchange, helping bridge communities through communication and shared creative expression

Accommodation, Food & Travel
🏠You will stay in a fully equipped three-room apartment located just a few minutes from the town centre — each room accommodates two people, with Wi-Fi and all basic household appliances included throughout the entire programme
🍽️A fixed monthly food allowance is provided, giving you the freedom to shop and cook according to your own taste and preferences
✈️Odorheiu Secuiesc requires some planning to reach — the organisation will help you organise your travel arrangements to ensure a smooth arrival
Training & Learning
🎓The learning experience in CineVolunteers is predominantly practical — you will grow by doing, creating, experimenting, and collaborating rather than through formal classroom training
🌱You will have plenty of space to express yourself, try new creative approaches, and discover your own process in filmmaking, photography, content creation, or environmental communication
🤝Knowledge exchange within the international volunteer team is a core part of the experience — you will both teach and learn from people with different skills, backgrounds, and creative visions

🎂You are aged 18 to 30 and resident in one of the eligible ESC programme countries
🎯You are particularly interested in one or more of the following areas: communication and content creation, photography and filmmaking, English language activities, or environmental engagement
🧠You value curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm over prior experience — no expert background is required, just genuine motivation to learn and create
🌍You are open-minded, proactive, and ready to engage with many new people across a range of creative and community-based activities throughout the programme
💪You are committed to investing in your own growth for the full duration of the programme — this is a long-term experience designed for people ready to go deep, not just dip in
