The Ville de Frontignan La Peyrade in France is offering a volunteering opportunity called “Live my life and flourish 3.” This opportunity takes place in Frontignan la Peyrade, a town near Montpellier, and aims to raise awareness of European citizenship among different age groups through international mobility programs.
Volunteers will have the chance to work with partner organizations that focus on various causes, including combating elderly isolation, supporting the integration of young people aged 18 to 30, contributing to a solidarity association, and assisting in schools with vocational projects.
Accommodation will be provided in youth residences in Montpellier or Frontignan, and volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of 250 euros along with a daily pocket money package of 7 euros. Financial assistance for internet and laundry costs will be provided, and a train pass will be given for easy travel to Montpellier.
The activity also includes French language courses, and the Erasmus Youth national agency will organize training sessions.
The ideal participant profile includes individuals who are comfortable communicating with young audiences, possess strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, and communication abilities. Motivation to learn French is preferred, regardless of the starting level.
The volunteering period spans 52 weeks from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
