This ESC volunteering teams opportunity in Italy invites volunteers to join an organic farm and educational agriturismo located in Belvedere Marittimo in southern Italy.

Participants will support farming activities, work with organic crops and animals, and experience life on a rural farm while also joining creative workshops and outdoor environmental activities. The project offers a hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, rural living, and community life.

🌍 About the Project

Fattoria L’Arca is an organic farm that welcomes visitors who want to reconnect with nature and experience locally grown food and sustainable rural lifestyles.

Volunteers will work alongside the farm team, helping with agricultural tasks and assisting in maintaining the farm environment. In addition to farming activities, volunteers will participate in traditional craft workshops and outdoor environmental initiatives.

🌱 Working in fields and greenhouses

🌾 Planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables

🌿 Cleaning and maintaining green spaces and animal areas

🪴 Preparing soil and supporting daily farming activities

🍳 Assisting the cook in kitchen tasks using farm products

🎨 Participating in creative workshops such as pottery and basket weaving

🥟 Learning traditional cooking such as making tortelli

🌊 Joining outdoor activities like rafting and beach cleaning

⏰ Working Schedule

🌅 Work mainly in the morning during farming hours

🕕 Typical schedule 06:00 – 13:00

📅 5 working days per week

⏱ Around 30 hours per week

🏠 Accommodation, Food and Financial Support

🏡 Accommodation in a triple room with private bathroom

🍽 Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided using farm ingredients

💶 Pocket money €17 per day

🗓 4 vacation days scheduled by the organization
