๐ŸŒย ESC Team Volunteering Opportunity in France

โ€œSpring to Build โ€“ Create an Eco-Place Together!โ€ is an ESC Team Volunteering project taking place in Gardie, France. The initiative focuses on developing a new eco-place where volunteers will work together to build sustainable infrastructure, restore soil and gardens, and create a community space based on ecological living.

During the project, 16 international volunteers will live and work together in a natural environment while learning about sustainability, cooperation and resilient lifestyles. The experience combines practical environmental work with intercultural learning and reflection about sustainable ways of living.

โœจ Volunteer Activities

๐ŸŒฑ Building and improving ecological infrastructures
๐ŸŒฟ Developing the garden and planting seasonal crops
๐Ÿ’ง Creating practical solutions for water and land management
๐Ÿก Improving shared community spaces and living areas
๐Ÿฒ Cooking together and experimenting with low-impact food
๐ŸŒ Participating in discussions about sustainability and cooperation

๐Ÿ  Accommodation, Food & Living Conditions

๐Ÿ• Volunteers will stay in shared rooms in mobile homes (2 people per room) or in individual tents on the project land
๐ŸŒž Electricity is generated through solar panels, so energy use must be responsible
๐Ÿฅ— Volunteers will prepare mainly vegetarian and low-impact meals
๐Ÿ‘ฅ Cooking will be organised in teams approximately once per week
๐Ÿงน Volunteers share responsibility for cleaning and maintaining common spaces
๐ŸŒฟ Free days will allow participants to explore the surrounding area
