🌍 ESC Team Volunteering Opportunity in France

“Spring to Build – Create an Eco-Place Together!” is an ESC Team Volunteering project taking place in Gardie, France. The initiative focuses on developing a new eco-place where volunteers will work together to build sustainable infrastructure, restore soil and gardens, and create a community space based on ecological living.

During the project, 16 international volunteers will live and work together in a natural environment while learning about sustainability, cooperation and resilient lifestyles. The experience combines practical environmental work with intercultural learning and reflection about sustainable ways of living.

✨ Volunteer Activities

🌱 Building and improving ecological infrastructures
🌿 Developing the garden and planting seasonal crops
💧 Creating practical solutions for water and land management
🏡 Improving shared community spaces and living areas
🍲 Cooking together and experimenting with low-impact food
🌍 Participating in discussions about sustainability and cooperation

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Living Conditions

🏕 Volunteers will stay in shared rooms in mobile homes (2 people per room) or in individual tents on the project land
🌞 Electricity is generated through solar panels, so energy use must be responsible
🥗 Volunteers will prepare mainly vegetarian and low-impact meals
👥 Cooking will be organised in teams approximately once per week
🧹 Volunteers share responsibility for cleaning and maintaining common spaces
🌿 Free days will allow participants to explore the surrounding area
