Vulcanus in Japan is an industrial placement programme coordinated by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, designed to strengthen industrial cooperation and mutual understanding between Japan and the European Union. The programme runs for almost one academic year, starting in September and ending in August of the following year, aligned with EU university calendars.

๐ Citizens of EU Member States or SMP-COSME countries
๐ Students in science and engineering-related fields including computer science, engineering, mechanical, chemical, electronics, biotechnology, electrical engineering, physics, telecommunications, nuclear engineering, civil engineering, materials science, ceramics, production systems, GNSS and related disciplines
