๐ŸŒ Project Description
Digital Literacy Champions is a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project implemented in Pedome, Portugal, aiming to reduce the digital divide within the local community. The project focuses on individuals facing social, economic and geographical barriers, supporting them in developing essential digital competences for education, employment and everyday life. Volunteers act in solidarity with community members by sharing knowledge, fostering inclusion and strengthening community participation in a digital society.

๐Ÿ’ป Digital literacy workshops covering basic computer and internet skills
๐Ÿ” Online safety awareness and responsible digital behaviour
๐Ÿ“ฑ Training on digital tools for education and professional use
๐Ÿค Support activities for people with fewer opportunities
๐ŸŒ Community-based learning and intercultural exchange

๐Ÿ  Accommodation and Support
๐Ÿก Fully equipped independent volunteer house
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Shared bedrooms with individual beds
๐ŸšŒ Around 10 minutes from the school by public bus
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Lunch provided at the school canteen on working days
๐Ÿ’ถ Daily allowance of approximately 16 โ‚ฌ
