Intro
A powerful European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity in Italy for young people who want to work closely with minors living in a youth shelter, gain hands-on experience in social work and education, and contribute to meaningful daily support for young people facing social and economic challenges.

Project Overview
This ESC project takes place in Monza, Italy, within a youth shelter hosting minors aged 12–18. Volunteers become part of the daily life of the shelter and support educators in creating a safe, structured, and caring environment.

This is an immersive experience designed for volunteers who are motivated to learn, grow, and contribute with empathy and responsibility.

What Is Covered
🏠 Accommodation inside the youth shelter (private room & bathroom)
🍽️ Three meals per day + 60 € / month for food on days off
💶 Pocket money: 6 € / day (paid monthly)
✈️ Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC rules
🩺 Full European Solidarity Corps insurance

⏰ Please note: a mandatory curfew at 22:00 applies due to the shelter’s regulations.

Who Can Apply
👤 Aged 18–30
🧒 Motivated to work with minors (12–18 years old)
🤝 Empathetic, patient, open-minded & a good listener
🏠 Comfortable living in a community setting with rules
📚 Background in socio-pedagogy, social work or similar fields is a plus
🗣️ Good English required; basic Italian is an advantage
📄 Required: CV + Motivation Letter in English

The activity takes place in Monza, a city close to Milan with strong social and educational services.
