Ever wondered how to bring Europe closer to its people? Join the “Informing Local Citizens About the European Union” project in Reims, France, and become part of a mission that strengthens European values, democracy, and civic participation! 🇫🇷💙

Hosted by the Centre Régional Information Jeunesse Grand Est (Info Jeunes Grand Est), this European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project invites enthusiastic young people to promote EU awareness, engage with students, and help citizens better understand their opportunities within the European Union.

For over 20 years, Info Jeunes has hosted the EUROPE DIRECT Centre, serving as a key bridge between EU institutions and the local community. As a volunteer, you’ll take part in creative and educational actions that inspire dialogue, foster inclusion, and build stronger European citizenship. 🌍✨

💪 What You Will Do

As an ESC volunteer in Reims, your tasks will focus on communication, education, and civic engagement, including:

• 🏫 European Ambassadors Campaign – Visit schools to share your culture and promote European diversity among young students.
• 💬 EU Promotion Events – Help organize interactive events like Escape Games or Europe for Beginners to raise EU awareness.
• 🌐 Digital Communication – Create visuals, manage social media content, and produce articles and newsletters for the Info Jeunes website.
• 🎯 International Mobility – Support workshops and sessions promoting Erasmus+, ESC, and other European opportunities.

You’ll become part of a dynamic local team working directly on projects that make Europe visible, engaging, and meaningful to young citizens. 🇪🇺📢

🏡 Accommodation, Meals & Allowances

• 🏠 Accommodation: Private bedroom in a fully furnished shared apartment (shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room).
• 🍴 Food: Monthly allowance provided for meals.
• 🚆 Transport: Local transport costs are covered.
• 💶 Pocket Money: Monthly stipend in line with ESC standards.

You’ll live in a friendly, multicultural environment in Reims — the historic city of coronations and Champagne! 🥂🇫🇷

🎓 Training & Mentorship

• 🧭 On-arrival and mid-term training by the French National Agency.
• 💡 Ongoing mentorship and guidance from Info Jeunes Grand Est staff.
• 💬 Opportunities to improve French language skills (B1/B2 recommended) through everyday practice and integration.

This experience will boost your communication, teamwork, and intercultural skills, preparing you for future professional or academic paths in the EU field.

👥 Volunteer Profile

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, curious, and creative volunteer who is:

• 🇪🇺 Passionate about the European Union and its values.
• 👩‍💻 Interested in digital communication, social media, and video creation.
• 🗣️ Comfortable interacting with young audiences and schools.
• 💬 Able to communicate in English (French knowledge at B1/B2 is a plus).
• 🤝 A good team player, open to new ideas and multicultural environments.
