About the Project 🌍

The AGESDER Volunteers project aims to bring a European spirit to local youth work and expand opportunities for young people in Niğde, Türkiye. 🇪🇺✨
Through creative, educational, and social activities, volunteers will help strengthen the community, promote equality, and support youth development.

Main objectives:
🌟 Add a European element to local volunteering
💬 Improve youth information and communication quality
🙌 Create inclusive opportunities for all
🚺 Fight discrimination and promote equal participation

Volunteer Tasks 🤝

Volunteers will be actively involved in meaningful community-based tasks such as:
🎙️ Organizing English Speaking Clubs or sessions in their own language
📱 Creating social media content for AGESDER’s English-learning Instagram page
🎨 Designing their own workshops or clubs (arts, culture, sustainability, book or movie club)
🌍 Supporting social responsibility activities

Duration: 56 days + 2 travel days = 58 days total

Accommodation, Food & Transport 🏡

✅ All costs covered by the project
🏠 Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment (15 min from the office)
🍽️ Kitchen and bathroom facilities available
🚌 Local transport card provided
💙 Full health & safety support and access to medical care

Training & Support 🎓

Volunteers will receive:
💻 Pre-departure and on-arrival training
📚 Introductory orientation on duties and project goals
🤝 Continuous support from AGESDER and their sending organisation

A volunteer contract will be signed upon arrival to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.
