Art exhibitions. Artist residencies. A small bar for guests. And a historic foundation in the Czech countryside organising cultural events in collaboration with the nearby town of Znojmo. Mairie des Arts Foundation / Port Gallery is looking for a female intern to join their team as Assistant to the Director for a summer season placement.

🏛️ About the Foundation

The Mairie des Arts Foundation is based at a residency in Podhradí nad Dyjí, Czech Republic, and organises several art exhibitions both at the residency and in nearby Znojmo. The residency hosts artists and art lovers throughout the season and operates a small bar for guests — creating a warm, creative, and community-oriented environment.

📋 Your Responsibilities

🎨 Art-Related Tasks

💬 Communicating with artists invited to the residency

🖼️ Helping design exhibitions

🔧 Assisting with exhibition setup

📱 Creating simple graphics for social media promotion

🍷 Hospitality-Related Tasks

📋 Helping with reservations and basic administration

🍹 Assisting in the bar
