About the Project

This is a hands-on ESC volunteering team project in the countryside of Northern Italy. The focus is simple but demanding: transforming a rural space into a safe and inclusive environment for future youth projects.

You won’t be observing. You’ll be actively contributing to physical work, community living, and sustainable practices. This is one of those experiences where expectations are clear: you work, you adapt, you contribute.

What You’ll Do

🛠️ Renovating and improving a farmhouse structure
♻️ Participating in upcycling and sustainability activities
🌿 Supporting green maintenance and outdoor tasks
🍳 Cooking together with the team through shared responsibilities
⚽ Joining physical and sport activities like biking, swimming, and football
📸 Creating photo and video content to document the experience

Accommodation, Food & Conditions

🏠 Shared accommodation with multiple volunteers per room
🚿 Limited facilities with basic living conditions (shared bathrooms, limited hot water)
⛺ Option to use camping tents if needed
🍽️ Food provided, with volunteers participating in cooking shifts
💸 Pocket money: 23€ per day
⚠️ Travel, visa, and insurance costs are NOT covered

Training & Learning

📚 On-arrival training and continuous guidance during the project
🧠 Practical learning through daily tasks and responsibilities
🎓 Youthpass certificate provided at the end
🗓️ Initial training (first 4 days) and final evaluation (2 days)

Participant Profile

🌍 Aged between 18–30
🧑‍🌾 Ready for physical work and outdoor activities
🏕️ Able to adapt to basic living conditions
🤝 Open-minded and comfortable with teamwork
🌱 Interested in sustainability and community-based living
📌 Must be resident/citizen of eligible countries
