Are you a youth worker, trainer, or youth leader looking to bring nature back into your educational practice? You can join an Erasmus+ training course in Dobczyce, Poland, focused entirely on outdoor education and survival skills as powerful tools for modern youth work. Over 9 days you will develop hands-on competences in wilderness navigation, shelter-building, and environmental awareness, while discovering how these experiences can foster personal growth, resilience, teamwork, and environmental stewardship among young people. ποΈ Did You Know? Dobczyce is a small town in the Lesser Poland region, set alongside the Dobczyce Reservoir β a scenic artificial lake surrounded by forested hills. It’s one of the most peaceful and nature-rich corners of southern Poland, making it a perfect backdrop for a training course on outdoor education.
What Will You Learn & Do?
π§Develop practical wilderness navigation skills β learning how to read landscapes, use maps and natural landmarks, and move confidently through outdoor environments
ποΈPractice shelter-building and survival techniques that can be used as engaging, hands-on educational tools with young people in youth work settings
πΏDeepen your environmental awareness and discover how reconnecting young people with nature supports personal growth, resilience, and a genuine sense of environmental stewardship
π€Explore how outdoor and experiential learning methods can be integrated into your daily youth work practice in innovative and inclusive ways
π£After the training, you will be responsible for organising at least one local follow-up event for a minimum of 8 participants in your own community within 2 months β putting your new skills directly into practice
πContribute to dissemination and visibility activities related to the project, helping spread the outdoor education approach across your network and community

Erasmus+ training courses award a Youthpass certificate upon completion β an EU-recognised document that formally records your learning outcomes and competence development, valid across all Erasmus+ programme countries and widely accepted by employers and organisations in the youth sector.

π All accommodation and meal costs β including coffee breaks β are fully covered for the duration of the training course
