This United Nations Internship is offered by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and hosted by the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) in Copenhagen, Denmark ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ.
CTCN is the implementation arm of the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism, supporting developing countries in accelerating climate technology development and transfer in line with the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The internship focuses on Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), data tracking, analysis, and knowledge management across CTCNโ€™s three core service areas: Technical Assistance, Capacity Building, and Knowledge Sharing.

This is a full-time, in-person internship with a duration of 6 months.

๐Ÿงญ Main Duties & Responsibilities
๐Ÿ“Š Track progress and monitor impact indicators using CTCN M&E frameworks
๐Ÿ“ˆ Analyse programme data and activities using M&E tools and data collection systems
๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Work with databases including the CTCN website and internal platforms
๐Ÿ” Identify data gaps and recommend improvements to M&E and data collection systems
โœ… Support quality assurance of M&E deliverables (closure reports, stakeholder feedback, timelines)
๐Ÿ“‚ Maintain a repository of programme documents, tools, and knowledge products
๐Ÿค Collaborate with teams across technical assistance, capacity building, and knowledge sharing
๐Ÿงฉ Perform additional ad hoc tasks as required

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & Profile
โœ”๏ธ University degree completed or in progress (final year Bachelorโ€™s, Masterโ€™s, or PhD)
โœ”๏ธ Relevant fields include:
Environmental Studies, Development Studies, Business Administration, Project Management, International Development, or related areas
โœ”๏ธ Studies or knowledge related to monitoring & evaluation is a strong asset
โœ”๏ธ No professional work experience required
โœ”๏ธ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
โœ”๏ธ Advanced skills in Excel and databases (including SharePoint)
