Through this paid internship programme, GGGI Mexico offers students and recent graduates a hands-on learning experience within a multicultural, international development environment.
This opportunity is based in Mexico City, Mexico 🇲🇽 and focuses on finance, procurement, and administrative support within the Finance Corporate Service (FCS) Unit, directly contributing to the operations of GGGI’s Mexico Office.

🧭 Internship Focus & Responsibilities
💼 Support procurement processes in line with GGGI standards and internal rules
📑 Assist with ongoing and new procurement procedures under staff supervision
📊 Provide operational support to the budget and finance functions
🤝 Support the Senior Administrative Assistant with additional administrative tasks
✅ Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance in day-to-day procurement activities
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following at the time of application:
✔️ Final-year Bachelor’s student, or
✔️ Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme, or
✔️ Recent graduate (within the last 12 months)
Relevant fields:
Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or closely related disciplines
Additional requirements:
🗣️ Excellent command of English
📚 Academic background relevant to GGGI’s work
📈 Strong interest in sustainable development and green growth
🧠 Preferred Qualifications
✔️ Strong planning and organisational skills
✔️ High attention to detail and quality control
✔️ Education or training in procurement / public procurement is an asset
✔️ Ability to deliver results in a structured and methodical way

💶 Financial Conditions
💰 Monthly stipend: USD 500
✈️ Travel, accommodation, insurance, and living costs are not covered
🛂 GGGI provides a visa support letter (visa costs covered by intern)
