🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by SPORTJUGEND IM LANDESSPORTBUND BRANDENBURG E.V. and takes place at Kindertagesstätte Wellenreiter in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany 🇩🇪.

The project focuses on a sport- and health-oriented educational approach, supporting young children in developing healthy habits through movement, play, and active learning. Volunteers work closely with pedagogues and become part of daily kindergarten life while promoting well-being, creativity, and intercultural learning.

🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
🏃‍♀️ Supporting pedagogues in daily kindergarten activities
👶 Caring for children aged 1–5 years
🤸 Planning and implementing age-based movement exercises and sport activities
🎨 Organising thematic workshops such as handicrafts, music, and sustainability
🎉 Helping organise festivities and excursions
🌍 Creating intercultural activities related to the volunteer’s country, language, or culinary culture
🗣️ Communicating with children and encouraging a health-conscious lifestyle

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
🏡 Accommodation in one of the organisation’s ESC volunteer houses in Potsdam
🛏️ Private room for each volunteer
🍽️ Monthly food allowance: 333 € (bank transfer)
💶 Monthly pocket money: 210 € (bank transfer)
🚉 Monthly public transport card for Brandenburg & Berlin
🚲 Bicycle provided for daily mobility
