This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by STŘEDISKO VOLNÉHO ČASU DÉČKO, NÁCHOD, ZÁMECKÁ 243 and takes place in Náchod, Czech Republic 🇨🇿.
The project offers a rich, intensive, and life-changing volunteering experience focused on education, creativity, and working with children and young people in leisure time centres, schools, and Montessori-based educational settings.

Volunteers can be involved in different educational environments and gain hands-on experience in non-formal learning, pedagogy, and youth work, while becoming part of the local community.

🎯 Main Activities & Volunteering Areas
Volunteers may choose and combine activities in different settings, including:
🎒 Volunteering in a leisure time centre in Náchod or Hronov
🏫 Supporting activities in local schools
🌱 Assisting in a Montessori school
🧸 Supporting a Montessori-style kindergarten
👧👦 Working mainly with children aged 3–18, with occasional activities for adults
☀️ Helping during summer camps for children aged 3–13
🎨 Supporting creative, educational, and cultural activities

The volunteering experience is designed to be broad, practical, and deeply engaging, even for those without prior experience.

🎓 Training & Support During the Activity
📘 Participation in On-Arrival Training organised by the National Agency
🤝 3-day team-building training with volunteers from the whole project
🏕️ Training held at the organisation’s camp base
👩‍🏫 Continuous guidance from a coordinator and pedagogue
💬 Full support in preparing and delivering activities step by step
