🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by YAYGIN EGITIM VE GENCLIK CALISMALARI DERNEGI and takes place in Muğla, Türkiye 🇹🇷.
The project aims to strengthen youth work activities, expand their international dimension, and increase youth participation at local level. Volunteers actively support the association’s daily work, contribute their skills and ideas, and engage with young people through a wide range of educational, cultural, and digital activities.
Volunteers participate 5 days per week, following a flexible programme of approximately 35 hours, aligned with their interests, competencies, and motivation.
🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
Volunteers will be involved in diverse youth work activities, including:
- 🧠 Preparing and implementing youth activities
- 🗂️ Supporting office and organisational tasks
- ♟️ Facilitating mind games and interactive learning
- 🇹🇷 Assisting Turkish language courses
- 📚 Supporting reading workshops
- 💻 Contributing to digital youth work
- 🌍 Organising cultural learning nights
- ℹ️ Supporting youth information activities
- 🏘️ Taking part in local projects
- 💬 Facilitating conversation clubs
- 🔍 Supporting R&D and evaluation activities

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
- 🏡 Accommodation in fully furnished flats or apartments
- 🤝 Shared housing with local volunteers or students to enhance cultural exchange
- 🍳 Fully equipped kitchens; volunteers can cook their own meals
- 🛋️ Kitchenware, appliances, and furniture provided free of charge
- 🚌 Local transportation card provided free of charge for project-related activities
🎓 Training & Support During the Activity
Volunteers receive structured support throughout the project:

- 🤍 Continuous mentoring and guidance from the host organisation

👤 Participant Profile
This opportunity is designed for young people who:
- 🎂 Are 18–30 years old
- 🔥 Are highly motivated and interested in youth work themes
- 🗣️ Have strong communication skills and can express themselves confidently
- 🤝 Are open to different views and cultural perspectives
- 📢 Are willing to share knowledge and experience
- 🌱 Have previous volunteering experience (preferred)
- 💙 Come from a disadvantaged background (strongly encouraged)
