🇫🇷#France ESC Project – 📣 Participant Call
The A ROCHA FRANCE project aims to engage young individuals in scientific studies and practical conservation efforts to promote and protect biodiversity in the Vallée des Baux near Arles, France.
Participants will actively contribute to the management and protection of sensitive wetlands through activities such as species observation, monitoring, and analysis, as well as direct actions like tree planting and setting up nesting boxes. The project emphasizes learning the French language and promoting the ESC initiative through various media.
Accommodation is provided at the study center, which also serves as the project’s logistic base. Volunteers share gender-specific rooms, have communal meals, and access bikes for transportation. Training covers rules, community life, project descriptions, and fieldwork skills.
The volunteer profile seeks individuals passionate about environmental conservation, capable of adapting to diverse conditions and challenges, and willing to take initiative in their tasks. A basic knowledge of French and a full driving license are advantageous.
The project spans 52 weeks from 01/02/2024 to 31/03/2025 and takes place at 3000 Chemin de Barbegal à l’Ilon, 13280 ARLES, France.
