Join the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) as a Programme Management and Administration Intern based in Vienna, Austria — with the option to work remotely.
This internship offers the chance to contribute directly to the global governance of outer space, supporting administrative, fundraising, and outreach initiatives within the Office of the Director.

🪐 Key Responsibilities
📄 Draft background papers, analytical notes, and sections of official reports
🌍 Support the implementation of outreach and fundraising activities
🧾 Prepare factsheets, spreadsheets, and internal reports
🗣️ Contribute to speeches, statements, and presentations for high-level UN meetings
🧭 Assist in maintaining internal databases and planning tools
🗂️ Provide administrative support and prepare meeting summaries, monthly reports, and SOPs
🎓 Qualifications
🎓 Currently enrolled in or recently completed:
- A graduate programme (Master’s or equivalent)
- OR the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
💬 Required Skills:
- Fluency in English (knowledge of another UN language is an asset)
- Strong writing, research, and communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & spreadsheets
- Cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated interest in the United Nations’ mission and the ideals of the Charter
🕒 Internship Details
- Duration: 2 months (extendable up to 6 months)
- Location: Vienna, Austria / Remote option available
