Would you like to help young people grow, create, and take action for a better world? 🌱
Join the vibrant Youth Center of Psientífica in Águeda, Portugal, and become part of an international team dedicated to youth empowerment and social change!
Through non-formal education, entrepreneurial learning, and community engagement, you’ll work alongside local educators and young people to turn ideas into real projects. This ESC experience will let you develop key competences, promote solidarity, and foster intercultural dialogue — all while building your own personal project in a supportive and creative environment. ✨
🎯 Main Activities
💬 Support educational and youth work activities at the Youth Center
🎨 Create and implement your own personal initiative
🤝 Promote inclusion, dialogue, and cultural exchange
🚀 Take part in mentoring and entrepreneurship workshops
🎭 Support the educational services of the City Council of Águeda
🌍 Help design social and community engagement events
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Support
🏠 Accommodation, meals, and local transport covered
💶 Pocket money and travel expenses reimbursed per ESC rules
🍽️ All daily costs covered under the European Solidarity Corps guidelines
🩺 Full health insurance (Henner)
🎓 Training & Learning Opportunities
🧭 Non-formal education methods and project management
💡 Workshops on entrepreneurship and innovation

👥 Participant Profile
We’re looking for a motivated, proactive, and creative volunteer (18–30 years old) who is:
✅ Passionate about working with young people
✅ Interested in non-formal learning and youth empowerment
✅ Open-minded, curious, and team-oriented
✅ Committed to volunteering values and community participation
No previous experience is required — just bring enthusiasm and initiative! 🌟
