🌍 About the project

KEAN (Kyttaro Enallaktikon Anazitiseon Neon) invites volunteers to join the SuperYouth project at its Social Grocery in Athens. Since 2017, the Social Grocery has supported more than 400 beneficiaries, including unemployed individuals, low-income households, single-parent and large families, and legally residing third-country nationals. Volunteers will contribute to distributing food, clothes, and essential goods, facilitating creative workshops for children, supporting job-search initiatives, and running awareness actions. They will also engage in the EKODI circular economy accelerator, empowering communities to reuse materials and develop sustainable entrepreneurship skills. The project fosters dignity, inclusion, and environmental responsibility.

🏡 Accommodation, food, transport

• Fully covered accommodation in a shared apartment in central Athens, equipped with furniture, appliances, heating, and internet.
• Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC rules.
• Easy access to public transportation.

🎯 Participant profile

• 18–30 years old, EU citizens.
• Good level of English and/or Greek.
• Strong motivation to engage in social and environmental initiatives.
• Interest in circular economy and community support.
• Young people with fewer opportunities are strongly encouraged to apply.
