Are you ready for an enriching experience in the charming town of Frontignan la Peyrade, France? Join the Ville de Frontignan and become part of a 17-year tradition of hosting international volunteers. Here, the main mission is to raise awareness of European citizenship among people of all ages, fostering cultural exchange and intercultural understanding. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with various partner organizations, engaging in different areas of activity.
🏠 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD, AND TRANSPORT: You’ll stay in residences in Montpellier (single rooms), Frontignan (shared flat for 2 people), or Sète (shared flat for 3 young people). You’ll receive a food package of 250 euros per month, a pocket money package of 7 euros per day, and a package covering internet and laundry costs. A train package will enable you to travel easily to Montpellier, a vibrant city for young people.
📚 TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY: You’ll receive a French course to help you navigate daily life and effectively communicate with local residents. The Erasmus national agency for youth will organize two training sessions: one upon your arrival and the other halfway through your course.
🌟 PARTICIPANT PROFILE: Volunteers are expected to engage with a diverse audience and should possess strong interpersonal, autonomy, and communication skills. While there’s a preference for those motivated to learn French, there’s no obligation regarding your starting level. All you need is the motivation to immerse yourself in the culture and community.
