Activity Description: Frontignan la Peyrade, a charming town near Montpellier and the Mediterranean Sea, invites you to be a part of their volunteer experience. With 17 years of hosting volunteers, they are eager to share their culture and traditions. The primary mission is to raise awareness of European citizenship through international mobility programs. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work two days a week with partner organizations, offering a diverse and enriching experience.
What’s Included:
- Accommodation in residences in Montpellier, Frontignan, or Sète.
- A food package of 250 euros per month.
- A daily pocket money package of 7 euros.
- Coverage for internet and laundry costs.
- A train package for easy travel to Montpellier, a bustling city for young people.
Training During the Activity:
- You’ll receive access to the EU academy platform for an assessment of your starting level in French.
- Enjoy approximately 3 months of intensive French courses with a dedicated teacher.
- The Erasmus national agency for youth organizes two training sessions, one upon your arrival and the other halfway through your course.
Participant Profile:
- Volunteers should be comfortable communicating with a young audience.
- Strong interpersonal, autonomy, and communication skills are preferred.
- Motivation to learn French is a plus, regardless of your starting level.
Activity Dates: A 60-week volunteering opportunity from January 2, 2024, to March 1, 2025.
