Mindset for the Future is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in ลรณdลบ, Poland, from 14 to 22 December 2026 (9 days) for young people aged 18-30 from Italy. Accommodation and meals are covered and travel costs are reimbursed up to โ‚ฌ309. There is no fixed deadline, so you should apply as soon as possible. At Youth Works Hub, we went through the call and the full infopack to bring every detail together in one place.

What Is Mindset for the Future About?

The project is built on the idea that developing an entrepreneurial mindset can positively influence young people's mental health and the way they face uncertainty. Instead of focusing on what they lack, young people will learn to see abundance around them by recognising:

๐Ÿ’ช Their own skills

๐Ÿงฐ Available resources

๐Ÿšช Opportunities

๐ŸŒฑ Possibilities for growth

The exchange sits under two topics: Mental Health & Wellbeing and Entrepreneurship & Skills. If this format is new to you, our guide explains what an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange is and how it works.

Entrepreneurship as a Mindset, Not Only a Business

In this exchange, entrepreneurship is explored not only as creating a business, but as a mindset of:

๐Ÿ™‹ Taking initiative

โœจ Creating opportunities

๐Ÿงฉ Solving problems

๐Ÿ”„ Adapting to change

๐ŸŒŸ Turning challenges into possibilities

What Will You Do in ลรณdลบ?

The programme uses non-formal education and combines:

๐ŸŽฏ Practical challenges

๐ŸŽจ Creativity and initiative workshops

๐ŸŒ Intercultural learning

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Community activities in ลรณdลบ

The activities are designed to be fun, engaging and interactive, encouraging participants to work together, exchange ideas and actively take part in the learning process. This participatory approach is the core of non-formal education, the learning method behind Erasmus+ projects.

What You Will Take Home

Through these activities, participants will strengthen their:

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Self-confidence

๐Ÿ’ช Resilience

๐Ÿ’ก Creativity

๐Ÿ”ฅ Motivation

The goal is to help young people feel more capable of shaping their own future. If wellbeing is a topic close to you, our guide on mental health and wellbeing on an Erasmus+ or ESC project is a useful read before you go.

A Typical Day on the Programme

During the activity days, the programme will usually start at 10:00 and finish around 18:00, with coffee breaks and a lunch break in between.

What to Expect from the Experience

Participants should be ready for an active and international learning experience. The project combines:

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Teamwork

๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Group discussions

๐Ÿ“ Practical tasks

๐Ÿ˜Š Informal learning in a friendly and supportive atmosphere

You will have the chance to meet people from different countries, exchange experiences, practise communication in English, work in international teams and build new connections.

Travel Budget: Up to โ‚ฌ309 per Participant

Travel costs will be reimbursed based on the actual cost of the tickets, up to a maximum of โ‚ฌ309 per participant. Where possible, the organisers recommend purchasing tickets as a group. If this is not possible, participants may buy their tickets individually, following the travel guidelines and keeping all tickets, boarding passes, invoices and proof of payment. Our guide on how Erasmus+ travel reimbursement works explains the system behind these amounts.

Rules for a Valid Reimbursement

๐Ÿ’ถ Currency: preferably, all tickets should be purchased in euros

๐Ÿงพ Document details: the name of the passenger, price, currency and date of purchase must be clearly visible on all documents

๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Printed copies: travel documents are collected during the project, so book all tickets in advance and bring printed copies of all tickets, boarding passes and invoices; there is no printer available at the hotel

๐Ÿฆ Proof of payment: a proof of payment or bank transaction confirmation is required

โŒ Not reimbursed: tickets for missed flights, or tickets that could not be used because the participant did not attend the project

๐Ÿš• Transport types: taxis, Uber, BlaBlaCar and similar are not reimbursed; only official public transport and the most economical option to reach ลรณdลบ are considered

How the Refund Is Paid

For the reimbursement, it is preferable to make one bank transfer per national group, for example to the group leader, another designated person from the group, or directly to the sending organisation. This makes the process faster and more organised and avoids unnecessary bank fees for multiple individual transactions.

Full Participation Is Mandatory

This is an educational project, not a travel agency or holiday trip. Participants are expected to actively participate in the programme, contribute to the activities and respect the project schedule. Full participation in the entire programme is mandatory. In case of unjustified absence or incomplete participation, the organisers reserve the right not to reimburse the participant's travel costs.

Arrival, Departure and Extra Days

๐Ÿ›ฌ Arrival: participants should arrive at the hotel on 14 December 2026; check-in starts at 13:00

๐Ÿ›ซ Departure: 22 December 2026; check-out before 10:00

๐Ÿ“† Extra days: you may travel a few days before the project starts or return a few days after it ends

โš ๏ธ Extra costs: the organisers are responsible only for the organised hotel accommodation during the official project period; any accommodation and meals before the official arrival date or after the official departure date must be covered by the participant

How to Get to ลรณdลบ

โœˆ๏ธ Via Warsaw: the most convenient way is to fly to Warsaw and then take a bus or train to ลรณdลบ

๐Ÿ›ซ Two Warsaw airports: Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW), the main international airport located closer to the city centre, and Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI), which mainly serves low-cost airlines and is located outside the city

๐Ÿš† Trains and buses: timetables for train and bus connections between Warsaw and ลรณdลบ are listed in the Links section

๐Ÿ›ฌ Direct to ลรณdลบ: there are several direct Ryanair flights to ลรณdลบ Airport (LCJ) from cities in Spain, Italy and the UK, so check direct connections to ลรณdลบ before booking a flight to Warsaw
