Youth Works Hub has gathered 14 fully funded ESC volunteering placements in 11 countries, including Belgium, Latvia, France, Greece, Italy, Tรผrkiye and Aruba, with deadlines running to 30 November 2026. They cover youth clubs, arts and culture, social media and communication, a community of autistic adults, humanitarian support and international youth events, all for young people aged 18-30. Belgium hosts three of the 14 placements. Our guide to what the European Solidarity Corps is explains how the programme works.
Each placement has its own profile. The Greek call in Thessaloniki requires no qualifications or volunteering experience, and the Polish call in Lฤbork welcomes an interest in photography, video or storytelling but needs no experience. Several calls come with language support: French lessons in Belgium and France, Latvian lessons in Latvia, German classes in Austria, Turkish lessons in Tรผrkiye and Catalan lessons in Spain. Durations differ too. The Jemelle and Rochefort placements in Belgium are year-long, the Chรขteauroux placement in France lasts 33 weeks and the two Gaziantep placements in Tรผrkiye last 8 weeks. Our guide to how long an ESC project lasts has the details.
Each call has its own angle:
๐ง๐ช Belgium: a year-long placement in Rochefort covers a shelter's vegetable garden, a food bank and upcycled second-hand furniture.
๐ฑ๐ป Latvia: volunteers in Aknฤซste support an artist residency in a remote countryside setting while working on their own solidarity projects.
๐ซ๐ท France: a 33-week placement in Chรขteauroux manages social media, builds a LinkedIn strategy and content and updates the website.
๐ฌ๐ท Greece: an international volunteering team in Thessaloniki examines the situation of vulnerable groups and designs joint initiatives that promote inclusion, equality and active participation.
๐ฎ๐น Italy: volunteers in Ponte Nizza join a rural community where about ten autistic adults live alongside families, educators and volunteers.
๐น๐ท Tรผrkiye: an 8-week placement in Gaziantep combines educational activities, a media centre with a radio and TV studio and humanitarian aid.
๐ฆ๐ผ Aruba: volunteers in San Nicolas help prepare and run a Christmas fair with local artists.
๐ฆ๐น Austria: volunteers at a youth forum in a historic castle in Neumarkt work in one of three areas: social media and content creation, project support, or technical support and castle care.
European Solidarity Corps volunteering is fully funded: flight, accommodation, food, pocket money and insurance are covered. The Aruba call states that a sending or supporting organisation able to finance your participation is required. According to Youth Works Hub's review, five placements are open as soon as possible, and the dated calls close between 23 October 2026 and 30 November 2026.

Five placements in Belgium, Latvia and France are open as soon as possible, and the first dated deadline is 23 October 2026 for the calls in Thessaloniki and Sundsvall. The Italian call closes on 26 October 2026 and the Polish call on 30 October 2026, three calls close on 31 October 2026, the Aruba call closes on 1 November 2026 and the Austrian call closes last, on 30 November 2026.
