Youth Works Hub read all 18 of these European Solidarity Corps listings in full, and each one is a fully funded volunteering placement in Europe, spread across 13 countries from Iceland, Estonia and Belgium to Austria, Croatia and Türkiye. Two have no application deadline, and the first dated deadline is 5 October 2026, while the rest close between 7 October and 30 November 2026. Most placements start between November 2026 and March 2027, and if you are wondering how long an ESC project lasts, this batch runs from a two-week festival team in Granada to a full year in Belgium and Germany.
A few placements stand out. In Granada, Spain, a volunteering team helps children and young people from vulnerable neighbourhoods prepare a social arts festival through theatre, movement, circus and the performing and visual arts. In Reykjavík, Iceland, three roles linked to SEEDS's camps and projects cover environment camps, photography camps and communications in the first half of 2027. In Croatia, volunteers join ornithological and nature conservation fieldwork across remote parts of the country, with around €510 a month for pocket money and food. In Stoumont, Belgium, an ecopedagogical farm and youth hostel in a protected area offers goat milking, cheese making and workcamp leadership, and in Bratislava, INEX Slovakia trains three volunteers to lead international summer workcamps. In Bohumín and Ostrava, Czechia, Slezská Diakonie runs two placements with children and adults with disabilities, and in Panciu, Romania, a day centre supports children and teenagers, most of them from the Roma community.
Some placements are open to very few countries, so check the list before you apply. The Istanbul placement is open only to applicants from France, and the Iceland placements only to applicants from Portugal, while the Bratislava placement is open only to volunteers from EU countries and the Fagotin farm in Stoumont is looking for volunteers aged 18 to 25. The French leisure centre in Cranves-Sales runs all its activities in French and lists a manual driving licence in its profile. It is worth checking which countries can take part in the ESC and then the list on each listing itself.

18. 🇸🇰 ESC Volunteering in Slovakia 🏕️ Leading Volunteer Workcamps and Educational Activities 📣
📅 Deadline: 30 November 2026

If you love the outdoors, the nature conservation fieldwork in Croatia, the Fagotin farm in Stoumont and the SEEDS camps in Iceland put you in nature, while workcamps play a big part in the INEX, CBB and SCI placements in Slovakia and Belgium. Children and young people are the focus in Granada, Võru, Opole, Panciu, Cranves-Sales, Esslingen and the youth centres in Gratkorn and Gleisdorf, care and companionship come first in Bischwiller, Bohumín and Ostrava, community events and intercultural dialogue fill the Miercurea Ciuc placement, and social media and European project management the Istanbul one. Allowances vary a lot from one host to the next, so read up on how much pocket money you get on ESC and compare the amounts in each listing. Check the eligible countries and the profile first, because three of these placements are limited to a single country or to volunteers from EU countries.
The CBB workcamp placement in Belgium closes first, on 5 October 2026, followed by Panciu on 7 October and Granada on 10 October, so those three need quick action. The Austrian youth centre, Iceland, Opole and Esslingen placements close between 12 and 17 October, three placements close on 25 October, and the rest run until 30 October, 1 November, 15 November and 30 November 2026, and the Istanbul and Võru placements have no application deadline. Take time to prepare a motivation letter for your ESC application, check the conditions on each listing, then open the link and apply.
