ℹ️ Description About The Opportunity
Conflict and Collaboration: Team Skills for International Youth Work is a four-day training course for youth workers, trainers, facilitators and others working in the field of non-formal learning and international youth work.
The training explores how we work and learn together in diverse teams. Participants will look at team roles, diversity-aware education, conflict management, feedback and reflection through a systemic and human rights-based perspective. We will explore power structures, consider how conflicts can become opportunities for learning and development, and use feedback and reflection as tools for empowerment, inclusion and more intentional practice.
The programme is highly interactive and based on non-formal learning. Through role-plays, simulations, practical situations and group processes, participants will explore how to navigate diverse teams, clarify roles and design meaningful learning processes that go beyond individual activities.
The aim is to strengthen participants’ competences and support them in developing a more intentional approach to collaboration, learning design and creating impactful activities in international youth work.
The training course is open to participants aged 18 or above, with at least three years of experience in youth work, who are based in an Erasmus+ Youth Programme Country. Please do not apply if you do not meet these eligibility criteria, as we will not be able to select you for the training course.
When selecting participants, priority may be given to applicants who are able to travel using green means of transport.
Submitting the application form does not automatically mean that you have been selected. Following the selection, we will also establish a waiting list. If a selected participant withdraws or is unable to confirm their participation and travel arrangements within the requested timeframe, their place may be offered to an applicant on the waiting list.
