Four are open now with no fixed deadline, so hosts are already reviewing applications, while the remaining seven close on 06 or 07 September. The mix spans training courses, study visits and youth exchanges, covering everything from AI literacy and mental health in youth work to rural youth ecosystems and a Greek forest upcycling project.
If you work directly with young people, look closely at the training courses: Finland offers two, one on outdoor and nature-based education, one on mental health promotion in youth work, while the Netherlands course tackles AI literacy and inclusive digital youth work, and Italy's Training of Trainers focuses on working with excluded and vulnerable youth. For ESC coordinators and mentors, Italy's study visit on safeguarding in ESC teams is a rare chance to observe live protocols in action. Two youth exchanges round out the batch, one in Germany built around employability and entrepreneurship, one in Greece turning waste into sustainability workshops through upcycling and land-art.

5. 🇷🇴 From Rural to Plural: Building Rural Youth Ecosystems, Romania

Rural youth deserve connected ecosystems, not isolated actions. This study visit uses the European Youth Village model and past Rural Youth Summits as a learning lens. Meet local youth initiative groups, municipal actors and practitioners, visit Sâncraiu, a youth-friendly European Youth Village community, and work in mixed-country labs to turn learning into project concepts and policy follow-up, helping inspire the 2027 European Rural Youth Summit. Help young migrants heal, belong and thrive. This immersive training in rural Cantabria supports youth workers to recognise, understand and accompany migratory grief. Through experiential, nature-based and participatory learning, you'll learn to spot the symptoms, create safe non-clinical spaces where grief can be processed, and co-create practical facilitation tools to bring straight back to your community. 8. 🇮🇹 Safeguarding in ESC Teams, Italy

At Cascina EUtopia, a rural educational community in Northern Italy, observe safeguarding protocols applied in a live ESC Team hosting highly vulnerable young people, exchange peer practices and challenges, and co-design the priorities for the November Training Course. Want to become a confident facilitator? This 4-month programme is built on three pillars: Learn, Practise, Create. Explore the foundations of facilitation and non-formal learning (group dynamics, activity design, debriefing, visual facilitation), sharpen your skills through experimentation, peer learning and mentoring, then design and run your own workshop or learning initiative in your local community. This training helps youth workers who work directly with young people understand what mental health means, their role in supporting it, and practical skills to build a supportive, inclusive and stigma-free environment. This six-day Erasmus+ course in Ommen builds small, repeatable practices for AI literacy and inclusive digital youth work, and you leave with a tested session format and a Youthpass. These eleven opportunities span the full range of what mobility of youth workers looks like in practice, from short study visits observing real safeguarding protocols to multi-month facilitation programmes and week-long training courses in outdoor education, mental health and AI literacy. If your work touches ESC coordination, the Italy study visit is a rare inside look at how safeguarding actually runs on the ground; if you are newer to the field, the Finland and Netherlands training courses give you practical, immediately usable tools. The two youth exchanges, in Germany and Greece, are open directly to young people rather than youth workers, so pass those along if you know someone the right age.
