HOC Living (House of Co), a co-living and co-working company in Antwerp, Belgium, is looking for a methodical, action-oriented Purchasing & Procurement Intern to join the operational backbone of its accounting and finance team. Over 5 to 6 months, full-time, you will own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for the company's co-living houses, co-working spaces and construction sites, making sure they have what they need without financial or logistical delays. This is an Erasmus+ traineeship, and the application deadline is 1 September 2026.

About the Role

Every property transformation relies on accurate budgeting, quick buying and on-time delivery. As the Purchasing & Procurement Intern you sit at the centre of that process, working with the accounting and finance team to source, buy and track everything the company's sites need.

What You'll Do

๐Ÿ’ถ Budget validation: review contractor scopes of work and validate interior design bills of quantities against standards to catch missing expenses early.

โฑ๏ธ Timeline management: calculate vendor lead times backwards from project deadlines to prevent site delays.

๐Ÿ›’ Buying execution: convert approved material requests into purchase orders and execute purchases with suppliers.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Logistics tracking: source materials, manage supplier databases, and track shipments from payment to site arrival.

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Document control: collect, verify and upload invoices to Google Drive and Yuki to support accounting.

๐Ÿค Cross-team syncs: run weekly meetings with architecture and construction, handle daily house and office buying, and send weekly budget and risk reports.

๐Ÿ“Š Post-mortems: help analyse budget versus actual costs after project completions to update master checklists.

Eligibility

This is an Erasmus+ traineeship, ideally for 5 to 6 months. The company does not provide visa sponsorship; if you are not an EU/EEA resident, you can ask whether they can host you for a maximum of 3 months.
