Time Tamer is an Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Valencia, Spain, from 21 to 25 September 2026, that brings together young people from across Europe to explore the causes of procrastination and build practical strategies for productivity, self discipline and time management. This in person edition has just 8 places, the application deadline is 18 September 2026, and the training itself and all meals are free.
Why This Training Exists
Procrastination is a common and serious problem, especially among young people, university students and those with busy work schedules, particularly when it comes to time management and self discipline. Factors such as stress, anxiety and perfectionism in education or working life can trigger procrastination, leading people to postpone important tasks, creating a cycle of avoidance and reducing productivity. Constant access to the internet adds even more distractions and reinforces procrastination habits. Time Tamer's needs analysis set out to identify young people's gaps around procrastination and develop effective solutions, giving professionals who work with youth innovative tools and strategies to support them more effectively.
About the Training
The training course brings together young people from across Europe to explore the causes of procrastination and develop practical strategies for improving productivity, self discipline and time management. Through engaging non formal education methods, participants discover how small daily habits and digital distractions influence their ability to reach personal, academic and professional goals. Throughout the training, participants take part in interactive workshops, simulations, role plays, team challenges and practical activities focused on goal setting, effective planning, motivation and overcoming procrastination. By the end, participants leave with practical tools, greater self awareness and an international network that inspires them to make better use of their most valuable resource: time.

The Project Behind It: Time Tamer
This training is part of Time Tamer, a 15 month Erasmus+ project (1 September 2025 to 30 November 2026) under the Small scale partnerships in youth action (KA210-YOU), with a total budget of 60,000.00 โฌ. The project aims to:
๐ฏ Raise awareness of procrastination among youth workers, participants and people with time management difficulties.
๐ ๏ธ Build partner organisations' capacity to address procrastination and support young people in overcoming this habit.
๐ Equip youth workers and trainers with more knowledge and skills to combat procrastination.
๐ฅ Develop digital resources such as a VIDEOBANK and ONLINE trainings to help young people identify and overcome procrastination.
๐ Develop a manual on procrastination and ensure its distribution to young people who do not have easy access to the internet.
โก Promote a culture of self discipline and personal responsibility among young people.
Two of the project's tangible results are a VideoBank of 20 educational videos on procrastination, offering valuable insights and practical strategies for youth workers and young people, and a written Multilingual Manual that transforms the content of those 20 videos into a structured, accessible resource, available in English and in the partners' languages (Polish, Greek, Spanish and Turkish).
