โน๏ธ Description About The Opportunity
The Mentoring Competence Framework provides clear and effective guidance for mentoring practitioners in the ESC Programme.
This training course is designed for members of organisations who are involved in European Solidarity Corps activities and would like to use the framework to improve mentoring support in their organisations.
Mentoring is one of the main support measures of the European Solidarity Corps Programme: it contributes both to the value of the volunteering project as well as the well-being of the volunteer; this also includes the mental health of the participants.
Objectives
1.Getting Familiar with the Mentoring Competence Framework
- Understanding the framework and its purpose
- Exploring its three key parts: mentoring focus areas (tasks), competencies, and guiding principles
- Learning how to apply the framework effectively in your mentoring practice
2. Understanding Mentoring Tasks
- Exploring key focus areas in mentoring and their specific responsibilities
- Learning and sharing best mentoring practices across different areas
3. Enhancing Mentoring Competencies
- Evaluating mentoring skills specific to each focus area
- Creating a personalised learning and development plan
- Understanding the values and mindset that shape effective mentoring
4. Implementing mentoring in your organisation
- Brainstorming ideas on how this framework can be used to improve mentoring support
Who Can Apply?
Focus Mentoring is a residential training course designed for organisations. We welcome applications from project coordinators, project managers, and other team members looking to enhance their mentoring skills.
