More information about the Project:


Our project takes place in Tenerife (Canary Islands) Spain, in the town of Taco, La Laguna. The schedule of the volunteers will be 5 hours a day from Monday to Friday in the morning. The task of the volunteers will consist of the support of the staff of Ataretaco Foundation.


The volunteer will participate in our projects aiming people in the edge of social exclusion, specifically:

• Spanish classes for foreigners


• Informatic classes for people in situations of social exclusion.


• Participate in activities: intercultural, free time, personal care, etc.


• Support to the foundation staff in administrative tasks.


• Environmental awareness classes for people in situations of social exclusion


• Activities for young people to learn about the different European mobility programs, especially the European Solidarity Corps

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Within the first 5 days of the month, they will receive € 877 to cover the cost of food, accommodation, pocket money and transportation.


Travel expenses are reimbursed to come to Tenerife and return to their country once their volunteering is over.


Volunteers will receive support in the search for accommodation. We will send you links with information of flats / houses in areas near the Ataretaco Foundation.


Volunteers have 24 days of vacation.

Training during the activity

The Foundation provides comprehensive training and support throughout the volunteering period. Volunteers receive initial training upon arrival to facilitate integration, followed by mid-term training to review progress and strengthen skills. Language support is offered through the OLS platform, complemented by additional workshops and activities relevant to their tasks and interests. Continuous guidance and mentoring are ensured by the assigned tutor and Foundation staff, fostering both personal and professional development.

Participant profile

Person with great interest to learn and support a team of professionals from the field of non-formal education and social intervention. With concerns to grow personally and open to new experiences.


We require a volunteer who is able to communicate in Spanish, preferably having a fluent level.
