The Pact for the Future, adopted by Member States at the Summit of the Future in September 2024, is a wide-ranging intergovernmental agreement aimed at strengthening international cooperation and making the multilateral system more effective, inclusive and future-oriented. The Pact includes two annexes: the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations.
To support implementation, the Secretary-General established a system-wide implementation architecture, including a Steering Committee, thematic Working Groups and the Team for Pact Implementation in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General. The Team for Pact Implementation supports coordination, strategic advice, tracking, outreach and communications related to the implementation of the Pact and its annexes.
This internship is located in the Team for Pact Implementation, and the intern reports to the Outreach and Communications Officer. The intern will support communications, outreach and digital content production related to the implementation of the Pact for the Future, contributing to public-facing communications products that help explain implementation progress in a clear, accessible and visually engaging way.
