L'organizzazione d'accoglienza è una fondazione nonprofit privata, creata nel 2009 e dedita a promuovere l'apprendimento permanente, lo sviluppo comunitario e l'inclusione sociale. La sua missione è creare e implementare programmi educativi d'alta qualità che rafforzino le opportunità d'apprendimento per le persone di tutte le età, in particolare quelle provenienti da contesti svantaggiati. I tuoi cómpiti in questo progetto saranno realizzati presso una casa di quartiere, e includono: aiutare il coordinatore nell'organizzare e realizzare varie attività; ideare e svolgere iniziative ideate da te; allestire e riordinare gli spazi dedicati ai seminari prima e dopo le attività; svolgere lezioni d'Inglese per la comunità locale, gli anziani e lo staff della casa di quartiere; sviluppare altre attività educative per gli anziani; gestire i social media della fondazione; tenere in ordine l'ufficio, e archiviare ordinatamente ogni documentazione.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Vivrai in stanza doppia in un appartamento in affitto equipaggiato con tutte le necessità di base. Riceverai un supporto finanziario mensile di circa 180 euro pienamente sufficiente alle tue spese personali, e un'altra somma adeguata ad acquistare generi alimentari da cucinare a casa. I trasporti locali collegati al progetto sono completamente rimborsati, così come il viaggio d'andata e ritorno dall'Italia alla Polonia. Un'assicurazione convenzionata con l'Unione Europea ti coprirà in caso d'incidente o malattia. Danzica è una città moderna con un centro storico bello e attraversato da canali.
Training during the activity
Parteciperai a 3 sessioni di formazione ufficiali: una prima della partenza dall'Italia, una seconda qualche settimana dopo il tuo arrivo in Polonia e una terza dopo la metà del volontariato. Oltre a queste formazioni, lo staff della fondazione sarà sempre pronto a darti supporto, e all'inizio t'aiuterà a inserirti nelle varie attività della casa di quartiere. Ogni mese o due verranno organizzati dei momenti di valutazione con i responsabili dell'organizzazione di coordinamento per valutare come sta andando la tua esperienza, che ti permetterà di sviluppare rilevanti capacità organizzative.
Participant profile
Sei il candidato ideale per questo progetto se hai qualche precedente esperienza o competenze in attività d'animazione con bambini o a contatto con gli anziani. Ma ancóra più importante è che tu sia una persona dinamica, creativa, socievole, responsabile e paziente. Ti deve anche piacere operare con gruppi di persone di diverso tipo, in particolare bambini e anziani. Più di tutto, devi essere un giovane interessato al mondo e ai temi del volontariato. Conoscenze su applicativi come Canva, Adobe e Google Ads, e passione per la fotografia saranno valutate positivamente. Non possono candidarsi a questo progetto giovani che soffrano di dipendenze di qualsiasi tipo, e dovrai presentare un casellario giudiziale senza segnalazioni. E ricordati che tutto il materiale che metti a supporto della tua candidatura dev'essere in Inglese (o in Polacco....).
