๐ŸŒ Erasmus+ explained โ€” the complete beginner's guide to Europe's largest youth programme.Millions of young people have taken part in Erasmus+ since its launch, but many still don't fully understand what the programme actually includes, who it's for, or how to get involved. This in-depth guide breaks down everything: the different types of mobility, funding opportunities, eligibility criteria, and what you can realistically expect from participating. If you've ever wondered whether Erasmus+ is right for you, this guide gives you all the answers in one place. ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://youthworkshub.org/15096/

โ—๏ธWhat Is This Training About?

The project offers the opportunity to practise wellbeing activities that are often forgotten. Through reflection, movement, mindfulness, time in nature, creative expression and peer exchange, participants are encouraged to support their mental health.

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ How Erasmus+ youth projects create lasting change in local communities. The impact of Erasmus+ goes far beyond the individuals who participate. Local communities, host organisations, and even entire neighbourhoods are shaped by the projects that take place within them. This article explores the broader social impact of Erasmus+ youth exchanges โ€” from building intercultural understanding to empowering grassroots organisations โ€” and makes a compelling case for why these projects matter beyond the personal level. ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://youthworkshub.org/3595/

โ„น๏ธ Description About The Opportunity

The purpose of the project is to step away from the daily responsibility of supporting others and dedicate time to yourself. Throughout the week, participants will explore topics such as self-care, work-life balance, personal values, boundaries, rest and movement. The training provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can pause, reflect without judgement, exchange experiences with fellow youth workers and recharge. The focus is not on performance or productivity, but on personal wellbeing and recognising that taking care of yourself is an essential part of taking care of others.

Working in the youth sector can be highly rewarding, but it also brings emotional demands and increasing levels of stress. Many youth workers experience pressure, exhaustion and symptoms of burnout while continuously supporting others. This training offers space to recognise the early signs of burnout, reflect on personal wellbeing and strengthen everyday practices that help maintain balance, resilience and positive mental health over time.

The main objectives are:

Strengthening personal wellbeing: Create space for youth workers to slow down, reflect, recharge and reconnect with themselves.

Burnout awareness: Develop a better understanding of stress, personal boundaries and the early warning signs of burnout, while encouraging sustainable self-care practices.

Learning through experience: Provide opportunities to experience wellbeing practices and non-formal education methods that can later be adapted for work with colleagues and young people.

Creating peer support: Foster meaningful connections, exchange experiences and build a supportive international network of youth workers.
