Do you want to spend ten months at the heart of an international youth community in Southern Italy? No Borders Youth 3 is an ESC volunteering experience at Entropia-DAM, a vibrant intercultural youth centre at the University of Calabria in Rende, where creativity, inclusion and active citizenship come together.


About the Project

No Borders Youth 3 is a 10-month ESC volunteering experience at Entropia-DAM, a vibrant intercultural youth centre located at the University of Calabria in Rende, Southern Italy. You become part of an international community where creativity, inclusion and active citizenship come together, supporting young international people, youth mobility, language exchanges, cultural events and digital communication while promoting European opportunities for locals.


๏ปฟWhat You'll Do

๐ŸŒ Support young international people, youth mobility and language exchanges.

๐ŸŽจ Help organise cultural events and digital communication, and promote European opportunities for locals.

โœ”๏ธ Along the way, you will develop communication, event management and youth work skills, improve your intercultural competences and creativity, promote European values and international mobility, and receive a Youthpass certificate recognising your learning journey.

Training During the Activity

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ This volunteering experience combines practical learning with continuous support: you will be guided by experienced mentors, take part in the ESC On-Arrival and Mid-Term trainings, and have access to the Online Linguistic Support for learning Italian. Your daily activities help you develop skills in youth work, communication, teamwork, project management and community engagement through non-formal education.


Accommodation, Food and Transport

๐Ÿ  Volunteers are accommodated in a shared apartment equipped with all necessary facilities, shared with other project volunteers.

๐Ÿ’ถ Each volunteer receives โ‚ฌ170 per month for food, โ‚ฌ180 pocket money (โ‚ฌ6 per day), and a travel reimbursement according to the ESC distance calculator. Health insurance is provided throughout the project, and public transport easily connects the university campus with Rende and the nearby city of Cosenza.

Who Can Apply

๐ŸŒ Motivated young people aged 18 to 30 living in an EU country, available from 15 September 2026 to 15 July 2027.

๐Ÿ’ก The organisers welcome creative, proactive and open-minded volunteers who enjoy working with people in an international environment. An interest in youth participation, European mobility, digital communication and Italian culture is an asset, and curiosity, flexibility and a willingness to learn matter more than previous experience.

What's Covered
