About the Organisation
The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, focused on developing the export capabilities of small and medium-sized businesses in developing and transition economies. It is 100% "Aid for Trade", supporting trade that delivers inclusive and sustainable development.
Within ITC's Division of Sustainable and Inclusive Trade, the Youth and Trade initiative supports youth economic empowerment by reinforcing skills for employability and entrepreneurship. ITC manages the Ye! Community, a global platform connecting young entrepreneurs with networking, mentors, e-learning, opportunities, events, and resources. The Youth Ecopreneur Programme powers the green and just transition by investing in young entrepreneurs as catalysts for sustainable development and climate action, with a focus on sustainable land management and ecological restoration.
Your Tasks
๐ฑ Support the Ye! Community and Youth & Trade social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X), developing communications materials and curating content
๐๏ธ Maintain Ye! Community resources, e-learning pages, and the Youth & Trade pages of the ITC website
๐ค Facilitate connections between community members and external opportunities, and coordinate webinars, mentoring, and virtual training
๐ Contribute to results-based management, research new project areas, and support project design and coordination
๐ฑ Assist the Youth Ecopreneur Programme, including the Bootcamp, Accelerator, Awards, and Alumni activities, outreach, communication materials, data management, and monitoring and evaluation
Who Can Apply
๐ Enrolled in a graduate programme, or in the final academic year of a first university degree, or graduated within one year (commencing within a year of graduation), in Communications, Marketing, International Development, International Relations, Sustainability, Business Management, or a related field
๐ป Ability to work independently, proficiency in Excel, and experience drafting communication material with Canva
๐ฃ๏ธ Fluency in written and spoken English is required; experience in trade-related technical assistance, international development, project management, or communications is desirable

โณ Duration: 6 months, starting as soon as possible
